Giant Alligator Spotted In Alabama

This giant alligator was photographed by a news helicopter in Lake Weiss. That small animal in its mouth is no small animal but an 11 foot deer. Want to take a guess on how big that makes the gator?

Sea Worm Captured In UK

A huge sea worm has been captured in Great Britain. It is said the creature had been antagonizing the local aquatic life. The four foot long sea worm was causing problems at Newquay’s Bay Reef Aquarium. The creature had been causing issues with the reef, and the staff at the aquarium were at first quite perplexed.

Attempts made by the staff to capture the creature were first unsuccessful. However, the sea worm, now named Barry, lives in its own tank, after he was finally captured. Check out a picture of Barry below! What do you think? Would you want to come across something like that while you were out for a little swim?

Picture: The Story Of Kusshi

Stories about lake monsters are not new. We’ve had Nessie and Champ, but there is another lake creature that also seems to have earned attention. That is Kusshi, a resident of Lake Kussharo in Japan. Lake Kussharo was formed out of a crater left behind by a volcano.

The creature in the lake became popular in the 1970s when several sightings were made. The first being in 1972. However, there are stories of something strange living in the lake since long before these sightings gained media attention. Kusshi is said to be between 10 to 20 meters in length and brown in color.

Looking at what we might have, it looks very much like a dinosaur of long ago. What do you think?

Sand Worms Once Tremored!

giant-worm_1366576c.jpg

This story immediately reminded me of the trilogy of movies from about ten years ago, Tremors. In the movies, sand worms traveled under the ground, coming up and killing people at will. However, this story isn’t too far from reality, especially with the recent findings in an English sea town -Torbay, Devon.

Fossils of sand worms have been found in the area, and they are said to pre-date dinosaurs living approximately 260 million years ago. These sand worms were definitely nowhere as big as the ones in the movies, but they did grow to about three feet long, and were about six inches wide.

The scientists that found the holes these creatures made said they look more like the worms seen in the movie Dune. What do you think? Have giant worms traveled the earth? Or is it just another wish made based on what could be true? Is fiction becoming reality?

Do Dinosaurs Still Exist?

stegocambodia.jpg

When it comes to strange creatures, the strangest today might be dinosaurs. Millions of years ago, they owned this planet we now populate, and many have said that dinosaurs died off long before we lived. Now there is new findings that leads to the fact that dinosaurs might still walk the planet somewhere.

They might be hidden somewhere in the dense forests. With how the forests in the world are being destroyed at an alarming rate, and if they do in fact still exist and walk the earth, we might one day come face to face with them.

Some of the recent proof that dinosaurs have still walked the planet comes in the forum of one carving found in a Temple in Cambodia that dates to a time between 800 A.D. to 1400 A.D. - a period long after the time dinosaurs walked the Earth. The dinosaur carved into the wall of the temple appears to be a Stegosaurus.

What do you think? Do dinosaurs still walk around today hidden from our view somewhere in the forests on our planet?

Monster Snake Photographed in Borneo

Giant snakes is the stuff of monster movies and legend, but it appears that the Baleh River in Borneo has its own monster snake. Natives believe the snake is actually an agent creature in their own legends called the Nabau creature. Those that have seen the two pictures are doubting the authenticity of them due to changes between the two pictures.

One is said to be a shot taken from a helicopter by someone on the flood control team. The identity of that person or the date the picture was taken have not yet been revealed. The second picture is said to have been taken from a remote village. What do you think of these photos?

Are they really of a monster snake? Or is it all photoshop? What do you think? Do we have our very own star for the next Anaconda movie somewhere in Borneo? I wouldn’t want to see this snake up close and personal ever!

Places: Conser Lake

conserlake3.jpg

There are many locations in the United States and around the world that are locations of sightings, whether it be ghosts, unidentified flying objects or the sighting of strange creatures. One such location is what was once called Conser Lake in Millersburg, Oregon.

There have been reports since the 1950s and 1960s about a strange creature being sighted near the lake. This one is a Bigfoot, but this sighting is different because it is a white creature. This coloring has earned it the name of the Ghost of Conser Lake.

The lake is currently no longer named that, but it is still located in the area. It has just been renamed and it is now on private property. The creature first began to appear after an object is said to have crashed into the lake in 1959. The creature has been described as a shaggy gorilla.

What do you think?

New Nessie Sighting

A couple out for a weekend trip the weekend of February 1st might be the latest people to capture a glimpse of the famous Scotland resident, Nessie or the Loch Ness Monster. The couple was able to capture the creature on water, but the image is blurry. The picture is now being looked at closely to see if it is indeed Nessie. The couple had gone out for a birthday dinner, and then stopped by the lake for a moment. That is when the sighting was made. The fact they were able to capture the sighting on film was a fluke according to the couple.

“I had the passenger window open as I was smoking at the time and as we pulled into the lay-by there was an rustling and a splash. It sounded as if a Mini had landed in the water. That’s how loud it was. We both looked at each other and I said ‘What the hell was that’? It wasn’t a small splash like a piece of debris or a stone falling into the loch. It sounded like a car or a motorbike had rolled into the loch.”

Check out their picture below. Is it Nessie?

The Titanoboa?

giant-snake-illustration-400x200.jpg

People that don’t like big snakes might want to look away and not read this post. A discovery has been made recently of a giant snake that once slid its way across our planet in prehistoric times. When I say giant, I mean bigger than anything we’ve ever seen past or present. Bigger than anything we’ve even seen in the movies.

Anaconda does come to mind, but this snake, now being called the titanoboa, is said to have been as long as a school bus and as heavy as a small car. The remains of this one great creature were found in Columbia, and they are now being studied at the University of Florida.

The snake is said to have lived following the period of T-Rex. So this snake did not exist during the time of the dinosaurs, but the period immediately following their extinction. Inside the snake, remains of other creatures, including turtles and crocodiles, were also found. This find has helped scientists learn more about this period in our planet’s history.
