I’ve always been a big fan of the paranormal. Ghost Hunters is one of my favorite television shows, and over the last few years they have had a big all night Halloween mission. I would tune in and watch until I passed out.
Here it is just after midnight on Halloween day, and there is another series doing something similar. Starting around 5pm Pacific, Ghost Adventures started a trek through the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in Weston, West Virginia. There have been numerous reported sightings at the location, and many ghost hunters have been there before.
When I tuned in tonight, the excitement was over a scream that was heard by those investigating. I didn’t hear it myself, but they sure seemed excited about it!
What do you think of these types of shows? As a believer in ghosts, I enjoy them, but you have to wonder how real these shows are. They are a perfect fun time for Halloween though!

The Stanley Hotel is one of the best known haunted spots in the US. TAPS and Ghost Hunters have made several trips to the location, and it is the source of Stephen King’s The Shining. The stories of the place stand out. Yesterday, I found this picture of what is said to be a spirit haunting the hotel. What do you think? The ghostly apparition appears to be on the other side of the glass from the man that took this picture.

The staff and students at one university are reporting that the quiet library halls are not so quiet really. There have been several reports of incidents throughout the campus, but most of the sightings seem to happen around the library stacks of Edmon Low Library. Several have sighted spirits in the halls that they have no idea about.
The security staff has thought people were sleeping in the library overnight, but they finally decided to go with the ghost theory. Other buildings on campus that are said to have ghostly spirits include Old Central, Cordell Hall and the Bartlett Center, which is said to be location where a young woman hung herself back in the early 1900s.
What do you think? Have you experienced the ghosts of OSU for yourself?

Another place you might want to check out if you want to have a little one on one time with a spirit is Morgan’s Alley in Lewiston, Idaho. There are claims that the building is haunted by a lady in blue. She is seen mostly on third floor staircase, and many have seen her.
Photos of the spirit have not been taken, but some have captured mysterious orbs in photographs on the stairwell. A local Lewiston television station covered the story about the haunting lady in blue for their news this Friday, and we get quite a look at the phenomenon.
The story was a part of their Friday the 13th coverage. You can check out the video of the news story here . The Lady in Blue is said to be the spirit of Mary Spaulding. She often makes her presence known when people come out for tours of the area. What do you think?

The Chapman Inn located in Bethel, Maine is one haunted bed & breakfast. It has been labeled as such because of the number of sightings in the Inn over the past twelve years since one couple took over the Inn. The majority of these sightings take place in one of the two rooms - 7 or 9. Guests in room 7 have seen a woman that ends up disappearing through a wall.
Room 7 used to be the room in which people were taken when they were sick in the days the Inn was merely a home. The spirit of a black cat has also been seen in the Inn, and the cat also disappears through a wall. Footsteps have also been heard, and while the couple themselves have not seen anything for themselves, they have seen things move from room to room, indents appear on freshly made beds and other such activities.
The Inn is so known for being a haunted location and guests do go just to see the ghosts that walk the halls of the Chapman Inn. Would you want to stay in Room 7 for yourself?

There has been activity caught in recent years at the Sacramento Theater Company. Pictures of said activity has been caught on film, infrared film mostly. One of the ghosts at the location has been nicknamed Pinky. The ghost is said to have a pinkish aura surrounding it whenever it does appear, and the ghost has actually come in quite handy.
It has warned the staff at the stage of an impending collapse of one of the lightbars. If that warning had not been given, several of the staff and others near the stage at the time would have been injured. There are two infrared pictures of what is called paranormal energy near the stage, and they are below. What do you think?

From time to time, I like to bring haunted places around the United States and the world. Big Moose Lake in the Adirondack Mountains is the site of a July 1906 murder where one man, Chester Gillette, killed his pregnant lover, Grace Brown. This one event has become the subject of books and movies since including the book and film by the same name, An American Tragedy.
The spirit of Grace is said to haunt a cabin on the lake, and some have even reported seeing a woman drown in the lake. This sighting is said to be the spirit of Grace Brown living out her death in constant repeat. This phenomenon is called a residual haunting.

In this world, there are many locations that are considered hot beds for paranormal activity. However, there are some locations that gain more attention than others. Two such locations are the Bermuda Triangle and The Devil’s Triangle, located near Japan. Both locations are at the center of disappearing objects - people, ships and planes. Many objects are said to be under the water’s surface and scattered across the ocean floor.
Japan has declared the area a danger zone, and it is also known as The Dragon’s Triangle. Some believe that a dimensional vortex of some sort connects The Devil’s Triangle and The Bermuda Triangle with the two being on exact opposite sides of the world as they are. Amelia Earhart is one famous person that disappeared in The Devil’s Triangle. Many have witnessed and reported an eerie green fog over the waters of The Devil’s Triangle. What is behind it all is a mystery.

If you have heard of Apple Valley, you might remember it as the home of Dale Evans and Roy Rogers. Ghost hunters have another reason to know of the small town. It was once the location of The Neurology Rehab Clinic. The location is said to have three ghosts.
One being a man that hung himself. This man has been walking through the parking lot. The other ghosts are women. One was murdered, and the other it is not known how she died. This last one has been seen dressed in white, and she only appears in one spot of the property.
The Rehab Clinic has been turned into a restaurant and lounge in recent years, and there are also businesses on the property.
