One more item that has me wondering if this just may be another hoax; the story that accompanies the photo’s claims that “the pictures were taken by a KTBS helicopter flying over Lake Wiess which is about 90 miles North of Birmingham, Alabama.” This makes me suspicious because Broadcasters with call signs beginning with K are West of the Mississippi. So, I did a Google on KTBS and sure enough, it’s in Shreveport Louisiana and broadcasts over Louisiana, Arkansas and East Texas. A check of the KTBS web site turned up no mention of any giant alligator stories. You would think that if this station had sent a helicopter all the way to North Alabama to film a 25’ alligator that the story would be worthy of bragging rights on their web site.

first of all, this looks shopped...2nd, ain't no such thing as an "11 foot deer", no matter how you measure one (i.e. head to toe or nose to ass)
