The planet is being called Theia, and it has never been seen, but scientists believe that it once existed in the early times of our solar system. They even believe that its destruction lead to the creation of Earth’s moon.

Theia is believed to have existed 4.5 bilion years ago and was the size of Mars. Scientists think that Theia crashed into Earth, and the debris from that collision created the moon as it is today. Two Stereo probes are currently searching the heavens for this once existing and now long dead planet. What do you think? Could there have been another planet in our solar system?
