Haunted Places: The Amityville House
Anyone that has watched the movie of Amityville Horror knows the story behind the house. One man lost his mind and killed all the members of his family one by one. It isn’t these events that gained fame for the house, but the events that happened a year later when a family moved in.
The Lutzes knew the history of the home, but they still moved in anyway. This was their mistake. From the moment, they moved into the house strange things began to happen. It is those events that became the subject of a movie. A movie that was remade in recent years. Have you heard the story of the home? Do you believe?
I have heard it is all true but who knows. Only those involved really know the real deal. It does give me the creeps to even think about it.
I read the book and then I saw the movie. They both scared the daylights out of me. Whether real or not, way too scary for my taste.
