From time to time, I like to bring haunted places around the United States and the world. Big Moose Lake in the Adirondack Mountains is the site of a July 1906 murder where one man, Chester Gillette, killed his pregnant lover, Grace Brown. This one event has become the subject of books and movies since including the book and film by the same name, An American Tragedy.
The spirit of Grace is said to haunt a cabin on the lake, and some have even reported seeing a woman drown in the lake. This sighting is said to be the spirit of Grace Brown living out her death in constant repeat. This phenomenon is called a residual haunting.
This image is of an unidentified flying object flying along with a small airplane. The image was taken by a man in Kaufman, Texas. The photo was taken by a man named Larry on the night of February 25th around 6:45pm. Yes, this means just two days ago.
If you look up at the close-up at the photo, you can see something flying closely behind the plane, but there really is no telling just what the object might be. For all we know, it could be a bird. The image is quite interesting to look at though. What do you think? Has this man caught an alien spacecraft trailing this plane?
A woman in Brazil is claiming she was attacked by an animal that could have been a werewolf. This attack happened at the end of January. And now the residents of the town and wondering if there is a werewolf on the loose. The creature that attacked the woman in Sao Paulo is said to have been a big dog. The police are looking for a man that dressed up as a dog to attack her.
Several other reports about similar creatures in Brazil have been recorded in the past year. Werewolves are something you only expect to see in movies. Do you think they really exist? Or are they the stuff legends and scary stories are made out of?
When people look to the skies and see strange objects, they immediately attribute these strange sightings to aliens and unidentified flying objects. However, scientists now might have a natural explanation for some of these sightings. A phenomenon called sprites that usually appear in the sky during or following thunderstorms.
These lights have always appeared, but they weren’t captured on photo until 1989. These sprites appear high above the ground, and even high above storms as they happen. Sprites makes me think of fairies for some reason, but the phenomenon can definitely explain some sightings. What do you think? Are most UFO’s caused by things naturally explained?
Not too long ago on this blog, I talked about the lights seen over Phoenix about twelve years ago. That sighting had received a lot of attention in recent weeks. Perhaps due to the fact the anniversary of the sighting is coming up shortly.
However, video of a new sighting in the Phoenix area has been released. A man in Scottsdale, Arizona captured a strange light over the Phoenix back on Saturday night. At first it was thought to be the Comet Lulin, but that should have been seen in the eastern sky. This one was seen in the western sky.
The video is only about a minute long, and the light is nothing like the lights that were once seen over Phoenix, but this light does make you wonder. What is it about Phoenix that attracts strange sightings?
Giant snakes is the stuff of monster movies and legend, but it appears that the Baleh River in Borneo has its own monster snake. Natives believe the snake is actually an agent creature in their own legends called the Nabau creature. Those that have seen the two pictures are doubting the authenticity of them due to changes between the two pictures.
One is said to be a shot taken from a helicopter by someone on the flood control team. The identity of that person or the date the picture was taken have not yet been revealed. The second picture is said to have been taken from a remote village. What do you think of these photos?

In this galaxy, there is more than just our planet Earth. In our solar system alone, we have a number of planets that might have had life on them at one point. There is research being done on the surface of the planet Mars. As a fan of the paranormal, I’ve always believed that the possibility of life on other planets was a given. This universe is too big for us earthlings to be the only ones alive in it.
Of course, the number of sightings of UFO’s has only increased in the last sixty years. Something tells me that one day soon we will meet up and make a true first contact with an alien species. That is if we haven’t already. This video below says there are one hundred billion planets in our galaxy that can sustain life. What do you think? We know to take anything reported by The Sun in the UK with a huge grain of salt. However, there is a report that the lost city of Atlantis has been found by someone using Google Earth. The location is off the coast of Morocco near the Canary Islands. Using Google Earth, lines have been found underneath the ocean waters, and it is said these straight lines could be what once was the city of Atlantis.
Over the years, this city has been searched for. Some thought it might be somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean, near the Bermuda triangle. It might still be there. Another location is near Greece and Italy in the waters there. Google has come out to say the line’s captured on Google Earth are actually sonar artifacts that they used to collect data.

A video that was recently shot in Peru is causing UFO and alien fanatics sit up and take notice. This recent video is said to include the sighting of a extra terrestial being, and the video is now being analyzed by authorities in Peru. The video is said to have been taken on August 30th, 2008, in the Santa Rosa de Quivas region.
The video was released to the public last month, and it is only now getting attention from the English speaking world. This video shown below is said to capture an alien. What do you think of the video? Is this is our first true alien contact or just another hoax video? Peruvian officials do claim after investigating the footage for themselves that it is an alien.
Salma Hayek shocked the world this week when she up and married her on-again and off-again boyfriend on Valentine’s Day this passed weekend, and now she is speaking out about a belief she has in regards to her daughter. On a recent appearance on the Rachel Ray Show, the actress has come out to say that her sixteen month daughter, Valentina, can see ghosts.
Hayek speaks about an incident that occured just the night before when her daughter woke up and began speaking to someone that Salma could not see herself. Valentina said good-bye to the ghost, asking it to leave, before she went back to sleep herself. What do you think? Can the little girl see spirits?
