Barack Obama is heading into DC, and since he can’t move into the White House just yet, he has moved in just across the street. Barack and the family has moved into the Hay-Adams Hotel. The hotel is said to be the home of several ghosts including Clover Adams.

She is a descendant of President John Adams that killed herself on the property in the 1800s. The hotel was built in 1928, and is named for both Adams and John Hay who also owned a house on that property. Staff has the following to say about things they have seen in the hotel. Apparently, Clover is a fan of the fourth floor in particular.

Examples of staff experiences include unexplained opening and closing of locked doors of unoccupied rooms; clock radios mysteriously turning off and on; the sounds of a woman crying softly in a room or a stairwell; or a voice of a woman asking a housekeeper, ‘What do you want?’
