The Poltergeist At Enfield
One of the most popular ghost stories in recent history is of the ghost of Enfield in London. This ghost haunted a family for two years back in the late 1970s. The single mother and her four children were attacked by this one angry spirit of a man that was said to once live in the house, Bill Hobbs. The family was terrorized during those two years, and the attacks only became worse as time went on.
The children, especially the oldest daughter, Janet, were the focus of the tasks, and they became deadly serious as the spirit in the house tried to kill the children. One boy was struck in the head. Another narrowly missed being crushed by an iron grate that was thrown onto his bed. Those that lived in the same town as the family thought it was a hoax being put on by the family, but it wasn’t.
The events really happened, and one day in 1979 they somehow just stopped happening. The spirit from them on left them alone. Stories such as this one have always fascinated me. The claims by the family were investigated by Maurice Gross, and you can see some pictures they took during their investigation below. In one of the pictures, it looks like one of the children is being levitated. What do you think? Have you heard of this haunting case before?

I have never heard of this one but it does sound very interesting. Thanks so much for posting on it.
Though I have not heard of this particular story, I have heard of others. I think it is very possible. I just wonder why all of a sudden the attacks stopped. Great post as usual. keep them coming.
